Meet Marta

With over 20 years of experience in the SME sector and as a small business owner, I strongly believe in a “nurturing attitude" when it comes to building successful relations with my clients. Before coming to the UK in 2004, I lived in Milan, Italy, studying and subsequently designing fashion. Determined to understand the entire fashion chain, I applied for an assistant job at the Dolce & Gabbana showroom. This role was a direct catalyst for pursuing a career in fashion buying. When my Cambridge relatives offered me a job with the exciting objective to rebrand their SME fashion retail business, I took the bait.

Within 2 years, I repositioned the brand as a core player in the independent retail sector resulting in a 15% revenue increase. I also led the store twice to the Drapers Finalist in UK Premium Independent Retailer category. 

Back in 2016, despite the uncertain retail landscape, I created and launched an E-Commerce business (Shopify-based), selling sustainably sourced fashion, and managed all of its operations. Committed to make it work, you would soon find me surfing from one marketing blog to another, learning from the gurus of e-commerce. 


In the first 6 months, I expanded the loyal customer base by 21% and achieved online revenue increase by 51% after one year.

When, in 2017 I discovered I was pregnant, I decided to invest in my passion for digital and enrolled for a Digital Marketing course at The Chartered Institute of Marketing. I completed it just a few months before my son Leo was born, armed in powerful digital marketing tools enabling me to provide data-driven services to my future clients.



The nurturing aspect of becoming a mother is the inspiration behind Digital Maman's name. Businesses are like humans - they need a lot of TLC to flourish and grow.


This is where my 20+ years of experience in sales, digital marketing, e-commerce, retail, design and - what is crucial for my fashion clients - the fashion industry comes into the picture.


My expertise helps my clients to increase sales and build a strong digital presence that prompts repeat orders and customer loyalty. I offer consultancy services to clients from all walks of life and with all budget levels.
