There are many platforms that provide these services, SurveyMonkey being the most recognisable brand. SurveyMonkey offer different price brackets for their services and for the companies that are at the beginning of their survey journey, the free plan is the best alternative.


The pros of the free plan?

  • it’s very easy to construct your survey with a variety of question types

  • the cons - and there’s a major one - is that the free plan will only allow you to collect responses from 10 of your survey participants.

  • you can only have 10 questions in your free plan survey.


If you wish to have access to more answers to have a 360 view of your audience’s feedback, you will have to upgrade your plan and pay a monthly fee of around £25 (billed annually). That’s a whooping £300 paid upfront just for your surveys. What if you don’t have enough time to actually send at least 3-4 surveys per year to make your money work efficiently?

There’s good news for all small business owners out there. The good people of SurveyMonkey offer something called Flex Plan. £49 / month, billed monthly and with a subscription period that can be cancelled at any time, this is a perfect and feasible solution for any small business. They don’t promote it on their website is good news for all the accounts ( cheeky ) but if you contact their customer services about it, I’m sure they’ll provide all the necessary information.

So what are you waiting for? Go and get some answers from your customers and grow your business! I find having access to customer feedback absolutely critical. Even when it’s negative. It’s the only ways to find business weaknesses, re-evaluate, and grow.
